CONTEXT

Ribena wanted to showcase their lovable characters, Ribena Boy and Girl, in the form of animated emojis with each showing a different emotion, which users can use on their individual social platforms.

CHALLENGE

Animation for the characters should be simple but also I had to infuse some dynamic actions to them. They had to be in a gif format and had to be in a seamless 2s-3s loop.

EXECUTION

On top of the primary animation showing the actions of the emotions that needed to be portrayed, secondary animations such as crying bits, stars and hearts were further added to accentuate the overall animation making more interesting.
